Great place to stay. Right downtown near the Greyhound bus station, but never felt unsafe. The walls and floors are super thin, but nothing out of the ordinary for an older building.

Earl was proactive, responsive and very easy to work with. The apartment is lovely, spacious and clean, with vintage charm. The location is near the action but tucked in a quiet corner, and highway access is right there. I would recommend it to others.

I had a great experience during my stay at the Ione Hideaway. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The hosts were very communicative and made everything easy from check-in to checkout. The home was quiet, well-kept, and had everything I needed for a long stay while working in the area. I appreciated the attention to detail and how well the space was maintained. Overall, a very pleasant stay — highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. I would definitely book again. Very convenient. We visited the Preston Haunted Castle in Ione and the Haunted Forest in Plymouth. These are some of the scariest Halloween attractions in Northern California. This area is beautiful all year round. Christmas is also a wonderful time to visit Amador County. Live music, wine tasting, little unique shops, excellent restaurants, beautiful scenery, great activities, and gold rush history. Kraig’s apartment is clean and private. There’s a lovely restaurant across the street and a brew pub two doors down. This is a wonderful area and Kraig’s place is a great value.

Great stay - beautiful spot over the water. Very family friendly layout (with the bunk beds and what not). Amazing view of the ocean, especially from the master bedroom up top. WiFi worked very well (though we didn’t “stress test” it with concurrent zoom calls or anything). They do use a septic system so something to be mindful of (i.e only flush waste and toilet paper). Overall I would definitely stay here again

I felt like was in the country in a log cabin. very quiet ,comfortable..if it wasn't for internet outage in the area I would say everything was fine. really no complaints..stood 4 days..only thing I wasn't happy with was extra towels. but other than that I was content!

Overall the stay was great, I was able to get in contact with the Earl at all times and the location is in the perfect spot, there was even toothbrushes and toothpaste for you. I would stay there again, perfect for events at the MVP arena or downtown.

This place was perfect for a traveling couple and was in the heart of downtown ,right where we needed to be . Close to MVP theater in Albany. Hosts were friendly and communication was easy .

Cute spot right in downtown Ione which has a couple cute restaurants and a coffee shop and a bar/pub. Also centrally located to other great areas, and very close to the Preston Castle which we went to for the Halloween Haunt event which I would definitely recommend!
